BupPractice Training Post-Survey Results

As of January 2012, the Buprenorphine Training Program has approximately 2,900 completions. We have collected recent provider opinions regarding satisfaction and educational value on our post-training surveys. This page provides a short summary. Satisfaction

  • program satisfaction was rated 4.5/5 (where 1=Very Dissatisfied, 5=Very Satisfied)
  • 97% of learners would refer colleagues interested in prescribing buprenorphine to the program Refer Program to Colleagues

Educational Value

Knowledge


The program contains a knowledge pre-test to assess baseline knowledge, and after completion of all the modules, learners complete a knowledge post-test. A score of 70% or better on the post-test is considered 'passing'. In a sample of the 40 most recent learners, overall mean knowledge scores increased from 64% pre-test to 84% post-test.





Educational value was rated highly. The majority of participants agreed that the program will assist in the improvement of:

  • Knowledge (98%)
  • Competence (94%)
  • Performance (91%) and
  • Patient outcomes (86%)

Additionally (where 1=Strongly Disagree, 5=Strongly Agree):

  • the program supported achievement of all core learning objectives (4.3-4.4/5)
  • the content learned from this program would impact their practice (4.4/5)
  • the program promotes improvement in healthcare (4.4/5)
