I am a NP or PA or other clinician; can I be trained to prescribe buprenorphine?

You are welcome to complete the training program for educational purposes, but at this time ONLY qualifying physicians with individual DEA numbers can prescribe buprenorphine based on the Drug Addiction Treatment Act of 2000 (DATA 2000). SAMHSA explains it here.
