Precautions
Buprenorphine should be used with caution in the following populations:
- Elderly patients
- Weak patients
- Patients with severe hepatic, pulmonary, or renal impairment
- Patients with myxedema or hypothyroidism
- Patients with CNS depression
- Patients with acute alcoholism
